KRIPPIT SPOTLIGHT: Tanya Heath

Krippit’s first spotlight of 2021 goes to Tanya Heath! Based in Paris, Tanya creates a unique line of adjustable as well as removable heels and has become a major disrupter and inspiration within the fashion industry. Tanya has motivated the Krippit team in many ways and we hope that sharing her story does the same for you.

For 15 years Tanya had a classic career in management consulting, technology start-ups, and private equity while teaching innovation at one of France’s leading engineering schools and raising her 3 kids. Yet, even as a child growing up in Canada she was mesmerized by the art and artifacts that her parents would bring home after a vacation. Antique wedding saris shared space with Inuit carvings nurturing a deep respect for ancestral craftsmanship, quality and natural materials.

Tanya’s convertible shoe line combines her passion for innovation with her love of quality handmade products. Her brand was created to let women step forward in comfort and in style, with her goal of keeping women’s needs at the forefront of everything she does.

Tanya has won awards in France and abroad for innovation, business, design and retail. Her heels are crafted in the Loire Valley and her shoes are made in a family run factory in Sao Joao da Madira, Portugal. This allows Tanya to visit the artisans as much as possible and keep production local.

You can check out Tanya’s website at www.tanyaheath.com where you can learn more about her products and her incredible story. She will be featured at the Sogal event Krippit is hosting at the end of February, with more details coming soon. Tanya continues to inspire women and entrepreneurs around the world, while focusing on innovation and disruption within the fashion market.
